Iż-Żewġt Uċuħ tal-Knisja Kattolika Maltija : il-Wiċċ Imqarras

Fl-ewwel parti ta’ dan l-artiklu rajna kif il-Knisja Maltija għandha wiċċ modern, aġġornat għaż-żmenijiet tal-lum. Pero’ l-Knisja għandha żewġt uċuħ, u tajjeb li issa naraw x’inhu l-wiċċ l-ieħor, li tant deher b’saħħtu waqt il-kampanja tar-referendum għad-divorzju meta suppost kellha tkun kampanja dwar id-divorzju għaż-żwieġ ċivili u mhux dak reliġjuz. Fost dawn jispikkaw il-kwotazzjonijiet ta’ “lpup, briganti u tradituri” ta’ l-Isqof t’Għawdex u theddid bl-Infern u d-Dnub Mejjet.

Dnub mejjet għall-avukati li jgħinu klijenti għad-divorzju:
Mgr Arthur Said Pullicino – Kap tat-Tribunal tal-Knisja:

“All the Church has to do is teach that whoever cooperates in any way in the introduction of divorce, who applies the law and who seeks recourse to it, though not the innocent party, would be breaking God’s law and so would be committing a grave sin,” Mgr Said Pullicino warned.

“A lawyer who takes up the case of somebody who files for divorce, the guilty partner, cannot do it. He would be going against God’s law. On the other hand, the lawyer who takes up the case of the innocent party is doing nothing wrong,” he explained.

Min jivvota favur id-divorzju jagħmel dnub:
Anton Gouder – Pro-Vigarju tal-Kurja (l-id il-leminija ta’ l-Arċisqof)

A convinced Catholic who voted in favour of divorce would be going against Christ’s teachings and this was a sin, the Curia’s Pro-Vicar said during an interview on church radio RTK.

In a phone-in programme dedicated to divorce on Friday, Mgr Anton Gouder, however, noted that committing a sin did not mean people would be excommunicated from the Church.

“If a person repents and goes to confession, all sins can be forgiven. If someone steals from his workplace and during confession promises to stop doing so and redeem the stolen goods, I will absolve his sins and he will be able to receive communion,” the Archbishop’s right-hand man said when asked by a caller whether someone voting in favour of divorce could be excommunicated.

L-Isqof t’Għawdex jgħajjar “tradituri”, “ilpup lebsin ta’ ngħaġ” u “briganti” lil dawk il-Kattoliċi favur id-divorzju:

Eżempju ieħor kif il-Knisja Maltija heddet bil-pulit bl-Infern u dannazzjoni eterna lill-fidili li jivvutaw favur id-divorzju:
NOTA DUTTRINALI U PASTORALI TAL-ISQFIJIET MALTIN LIS-SAĊERDOTI – L-impenn u l-imġieba fir-rigward taż-żwieġ u l-familja (Marzu 2011)

“Id-deċiżjoni li jivvota favur jew kontra l-liġi tad-divorzju, in-Nisrani jrid jeħodha fid-dawl tat-twemmin tiegħu. Għan-Nisrani liġi li tagħmel iż-żwieġ mhux dejjiemi tmur kontra r-rieda tal-Missier. Għalhekk, in-Nisrani li hu favur id-divorzju joħloq firda bejn dak li jemmen u dak li ser jagħżel, liema għażla se jkollha konsegwenzi irreparabbli.”

Rifjut tat-tqarbin:
Kellna wkoll każijiet ta’ qassisin li rrifjutaw li jqarbnu lil nies li qalu li kienu se jivvutaw favur id-divorzju. Aħna nafu li skond il-Liġi Kanonika dan ma setax isir:

Kattoliċi li jikkoabitaw ma jistgħux jitqarbnu:
Lil dawk il-Kattoliċi li mingħalihom li jistgħu jivvutaw kontra d-divorzju u se jibqgħu poġġuti kuntenti, allura ftakru x’qalu l-Isqfijiet is-sena l-oħra: li min jikkoabita ma jistax jitqarben! Timlewx raskom b’dal-paroli ta’ liġi dwar il-koabitazzjoni.
